Looking for a drummer to join Linwood Strange. We are an original rock band who does some covers. We are semi pro at best but dedicated to the music. We practice Sundays in Worcester, Massachusetts and play out once or twice a month when we can. We have some gigs in September and October so we are looking for someone who like us is doing it mainly for fun.

Vocalist - Baritone • Vocalist - Tenor
I have been out of the game for a while. I am looking for a band willing to help me get back in by letting me work with them. I have a tenor range but can sing low as well. Ideally, I would like to hook up with a band that has keyboards and solid background vocals. Would prefer a group close to home (Smithfield, RI) if possible. INFLUENCES: 70's, 80's, and some 90's... Led Zeppelin, Bad Company, Dio Sabbath, Van Halen, Judas Priest, Uriah Heep, Yes, Dokken, Elton John, Foreigner, Iron Maiden, Journey, Puddle of Mudd, Sound Garden, Steppenwolf, Chris Cornell, Audioslave... But open to all types of music for the most part. Just need a moment to shake the rust off.

I play guitar and my associate Jed plays drums. We practice in Framingham, MA on Saturdays. We're seeking bass and a different kind of rock instrument, think synth, violin, saxophone, something that sticks out. We're 41 and 50 respectively. Our goal is to do something instrumental that ranges from hard to mellow to trippy. We have a number of half completed songs that we've left open so they can grow with the full band. My current long-term band is ending this year. I play for the thrill of making great music with a band of like-minded players. Its all about having fun! Im not interested in tribute or exact cover projects. I appreciate a bit of musical freedom. Ive enjoyed the creative challenge of being the only melody instrument in a band, covering keyboard and horn parts as the tune demands. My solos are rarely note-for note, but certainly honor the intent of the song.
