But dont be too quick to put a label on Dans style he tosses out leads from a mix that some have called "enigmatic" harkening back to his early days of Western Swing and Country. Dans been playing for 30+ years, including a stint in the 70s with Country Blue, doing everything from Bob Wills, to Muddy Waters. Hes backed up Nick Gravenites, worked with the Sonoma County Blues Society Band and produced the latest Blue Blazes Album in conjunction with Monkey Business Studios. After moving to Oregon 16 years ago he worked his Blue Blazes at local venues. He now works with Lowe Down which does and eclectic mix of Blues, Country, Western Swing and Old Rock and Roll.
