My music career is not as hot as some of you out there. I grew up in a very musical family but I was not allowed to become a (Contemporary) My father thought that Frank Sinatra , Nat King Cole was it, with a few singers on the side like, Andy Williams,and maybe Paul Mccatrney. He did like the song Yesterday very much. We saw it together on the Ed Sullivan Show. I guess that ages me, but so what. Music is eternal, kids today are into Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Black Sabbath, and so many other bands from the 60's and 70's. I grew up in this era, and i can tell you there is never going to be anything like it. Every guitar riff that is in play today was arranged back then. Any way, I'm a singer song writer that wants to be in a working/writing band. I have CDs that you can have as samples of my work. Both covers and originals. I want to work and make money and also advance my song writing career. I don't like people with egos, I have enough to deal with my own. The flavor I'm seeking is Latin. Not all Latin but a undercurrent of a Latin percussion . An example of this would be Paul Simon's Late In The Evening. Santana's. My Guitar Gently Weeps. There are many more songs that can be arranged with the Latin undertone that I love so much. I sing Spanish songs like Besame Mucho which is a classic. I like the arrangement that was done for Andrea Bocelli. So I hope you have an idea of what I'm looking for. I hope to work with great people. Walk in peace always, Tony Santurio
