I recently moved to North Carolina. I am on the border of Clayton and Smithfield. Back in Philly, I was part of a fantastic party dance band in Philly for the past 8 years. We started out as a Classic Rock band but sequed into a dance band over time. It's what people want to do when they go out for the evening-Dance! I was the guitarist in the band, and I sang backup. We also had a keyboardist, bassist, drummer, female vocalist and male vocalist. We covered a lot of music territory with this setup. We usually played two gigs a month on average. Our shows were in casinos, dance clubs, festivals and corporate gigs. It was a great time, and we were great friends. We parted amicably due to my moving to Florida.I am looking for a similar situation here in Florida. I am 56 and have been playing guitar since The Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan show. Music's in my blood, and I would like to find a similar situation here.

Looking for a variety, dance & one hit wonder type cover band for all era's. I've been itching to get back into gigging again. It's been about 15yrs since I sang on stage but I'm missing it. Although I don't miss getting home at 3am. I'm a singer with a tambourine and slide whistle...lol. I used to play out with my guitar but I'm way out of practice to try to even attempt that. I like all kinds of music, with the old band we focused on what got people up and dancing. From Gloria Gaynor, Taste of Honey, Doobies, Mary J, kool and the gang, to No Doubt, Alanis, sublime and Save Ferris. I love the dynamic and variety that comes with both a male and female singer although its fun for girls to sing guy songs and vs versa to mix it up and have an element of surprise. Keys player is a must.

I've been playing for over 30 years and started singing a couple years ago. Currently, I'm performing mostly acoustic shows around Raleigh, but I also fill in as lead guitar for various bands. I'm looking to put together a band covering today's country music aka Nashville country. I also want to include 'good time' songs that people love to hear - classics like Brown Eyed Girl, Devil With A Blue Dress, Hands to Yourself, etc. Basically, my goal is to have the great band that everyone wants to go hear.Update: I've got a drummer and a bass player as well as rehearsal space. I'm looking for a lead guitar player. If you're interested please message me.Thanks for checking out my profile and I look forward to connecting with you!

I'm a well-seasoned guitarist who loves to play live. I'm mainly interested in a tribute/cover band (most genres). Or, I can always sub in for your tribute band with enough heads up! I can play anything from classic rock to Satriani. I'm a published songwriter with my music on over 50 shows in 35+ different countries. I'm good, but I'm not a d***. :)
