Vocalist - General
Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Chapel Hill, Nc, is a Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (Cbf) Church seeking a ministry team member whose primary focus will be on strengthening our contemporary worship.
There are distinct focus areas for each team member on our ministry staff, but the position requirements and job description may be tailored to the candidate who is called. This is so that we can build our ministry team based on complementary strengths, since we are simultaneously seeking a Children’s Ministry associate.
This team member will lead the band and other relevant teams (sound, media, etc.) in providing music for our growing contemporary worship service. A more detailed description of relevant duties, expectations, and requirements exists and is provided to candidates in advance of interviews.
Beyond this focus area, this minister's personal gifts and passions will play a big part in influencing the formation of a more detailed role. We want to hear from you, to learn your story, your passion, your strengths and weaknesses, so that we can create an environment conducive to your success and growth as a minister.

Contemporary Worship Leader Wanted
Acoustic Guitar |
Lead Guitar
I've been playing for over 30 years and started singing a couple years ago. Currently, I'm performing mostly acoustic shows around Raleigh, but I also fill in as lead guitar for various bands. I'm looking to put together a band covering today's country music aka Nashville country. I also want to include 'good time' songs that people love to hear - classics like Brown Eyed Girl, Devil With A Blue Dress, Hands to Yourself, etc. Basically, my goal is to have the great band that everyone wants to go hear.Update: I've got a drummer and a bass player as well as rehearsal space. I'm looking for a lead guitar player. If you're interested please message me.Thanks for checking out my profile and I look forward to connecting with you!

Drums
Metal/rock drummer with several years of experience with some brief gaps due to work/school commitments. I recently moved to the Fayetteville area and have been in a metal band in Chicago as well as a rock/alternative cover band while I was in Alabama. I have played several shows and toured very lightly. I own my own pearl double bass kit and associated hardware. I am in the military and my availability may be limited. I am hoping to meet some musicians and get a project going, either originals or covers. I would like to rent a rehearsal space in Fayetteville.
