Mature Blues Guitarist Seeking Blues band or start up I am a 53 year old lead/rhythm not yet professional guitar player w/some vocals. I am interested in joining or starting up a Blues Band to play at festivals, and other Blues venues. I am hoping to find some other musicians who are also interested in becoming part of the professional Blues circuit. I would be willing to consider playing anywhere in the Ny/Nj/Pa Tri State area. I am primarily a blues style lead guitarist in the style of Srv, Albert King, Clapton, Allman Brothers, among many other blues artists. I am also interested in originals as well. I have excellent equipment and am always working on improving tone. No ego, drug/alcohol or control issues. I just began playing again about a year ago after putting down the guitar for many years. Since I’ve been out of the loop for some time I don’t have a link or video at this time. Some songs I have been working on and am interested in playing are: Srv: Pride & Joy Couldn't Stand the Weather Cold Shot Love Me Darlin Scuttle Buttin Texas Flood and Other Blues Songs: Sweet Home Chicago Stormy Monday (Allman Brothers) Bad Sign (Albert King) I'm Tore Down - Eric Clapton Of course I am open minded and willing to play many other blues songs. Though I may not know them all at this time, I am fairly quick at learning songs and leads.
