It is Not a cheap “Impersonation.” Double D ~Background/Bio~ • Starting out as local contemporary country band "High Noon" winning The New Jersey State Fair Gmc True Country Showdown providing numerous concert and recording support to Philadelphia Contemporary Country Radio Xtu and national recording artists: "The Charlie Daniels Band", "Sawyer Brown", "Eddie Rabbit", "Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers" and other national artists, Pocket Central added their Rock/Country/Blues and Texas Swing sound in support of their loyal fans around the country with their debut album "Pocket Central" on Avap Records. • Performed shows/artist recording with Nashville Recording Artist: "Nikki Britt" supporting recent recording artists and national performers such as: Sonia Leah (Zac Brown Band), American Idol - Elliot Yamin, Keith Carlock (Steely Dan), Ritchie Cannata (Billy Joel). Touring with David Stone - The Johnny Cash Experience. • Musical background runs the gamut of diversity: Country Rock, Delta Blues, Road House Rock, Southern Boogie, Texas Swing, and Jazz defying conventional classification.

Musical Influences & Inspiration

The Allman Brothers Band, of course - In the early days, growing up with jazz was a big influence in my playing styles including my biggest mentor - Buddy Rich with bands like: Maynard Ferguson, Tower Of Power, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Brecker Brothers, Chicago, Blood Sweat & Tears, Chase, The Crusaders, The Dixie Dregs and many more!!! Leaning with the Southern Rock sounds, my influences included: Lynyrd Skynyrd, Wet Willie, Black Oak Arkansas, The Charlie Daniels Band, Willie Nelson, Grinderswitch (a friend I met many years after was leader of the band - the late, great Dru Lombar) and many more!!!
