Grand rapids vocalist looking for a band or jam session. I love hard rock, metal, punk, ska, and riot grrrl but I'll sing anything (except country). I used to be in choirs, but now my only outlets are in my car and karaoke. My voice is lower than most gals, but I can hit higher notes with warmup. Working on my screaming, too. It's getting there :)

I was in a death metal band called Enrapture in the early millennium. We played a club called the Rocker on Plainfield ave a few times, and lots of other places. I'm looking for that "everything fits" feeling again. It's a long shot, but I'll do it. YouTube "Enrapture, Northstar Burnout", the lead guitar is me. Thanks for reading.

Bass Guitar
My musical abilities were apparent as early as age 5 when I played nursery rhymes by ear on the piano. I did not get serious with playing any instrument, however, until I was age 12. At that time I began to teach myself guitar, and then drums, bass, and piano shortly after. I have been composing music at least in some capacity for over 17 years, and have had music licensed for worldwide projects and television shows.
I am interested in starting an experimental, groundbreaking band, that borrows from music from 2000 years ago to the present, without sounding anything else today. Basically free form music, with little thought of modern day musical conventions (not to say we will never use them, or that we will never stay within a guideline). Think: Ancient/Folk music meets Machaut meets Schoenberg meets the Beatles meets Tool meets Porcupine Tree meets Radiohead. Genre defying music that still effectively communicates with an audience. Pure emotion.
