Im a guitar player . i play solo jazz guitar . i mainly play comping for vocalist.Im looking for a female singer who knows songs likeTis Autumn, I thought about you, Why dont you do right, Night and day. Im not a pro and you dont need to be one either just know the songs. Take a listen to Joe Pass with Ella Fitzgerald tis autumn on youtube to get an idea of what i have in mind. Im also open to a male vocalist who also can play a solo instrument very well. So Female singer and or solo instrument or Male singer with very strong soloing skill preferably non guitar but i am open. Im still working on my skills as a player i have a good handle on 7th chords and their inversions and color tones. Know my Major melodic minor and harmonic minor pretty well and arpeggios. I have a bit of a song list going. I tend to play fairly straight as far as my sound goes my thought is to not clash with the singer and let him or her chose the color of the cord or melody .Im in Norton and prefer sunday late afternoon to evening for meeting. Would like to find a strong singer and Maybe play out some day.

I might be hard to catagorize. I ve played mostly in I guess what would be heavy duty classic rock bands. But, I m also very heavily influenced by funk bands such as Slave, Lakeside and the Ohio Players. My main influences would be Geddy Lee, Larry Graham, Louis Johnson, John Entwhisle, Billy Sheehan, Dennis Dunaway and zer Butler. I like to incorporate many different things in my playing such as chordal and linear tapping, double thumbing, slap and pop, pinch harmonics, using a pick, playing finger style, using different effects and tones. My bass of choice is usually my music man 4 string Stingray with a Hipshot drop d bass extender. I have some unique ways in which I use this device in my playing. I also play 5 string basses too. I have over 25 years of experience playing out all over the Worcester area. I have good equipment, I m very dedicate to whatever band I play in and my craft of bass playing. I m very reliable and motivated and I m not afraid to reach out and contact people for shows, promotion, etc. One last thing, I know some may read this and think I m an obnoxious lead bass player. I may do these techniques, but I do them in a way to serve the song, the band and the situation. If you are looking for someone to add a new dynamic to your band, please contact me. Thank you
