Practicing Indy-area indie bassist looking for opportunities to play out and rise in the local/regional alt-rock/indy scene. Pride myself on bringing a solid low end to the table and want to be known as a key part of a great band's rhythm section. Enjoy creating new music & collaborating w/ others. I take a James Jamerson, JPJ, Entwistle, Larry Graham approach and love applying it to new and original tracks. Quick study, I come prepared, learn by ear and pick up covers pretty much right away at this point. Currently gigging and recording with a great group and interested in seeing who else out there is looking for what I'm looking for----OR looking for a current band who's looking or needing another option on bass.

Love rock with an edge, lean toward 60s guitar-driven garage, British, American; appreciate all kinds of rock as long as its raw and real. Prefer straight-ahead sound over processed; organic overdrive over triple rectified. Looking to jump in with a team whose focus is on originals, but also appreciates the value of complimentary covers to help pull in and build a following.

Primary full set up: Fender USA PJ bass thru Ampeg PF800 w/ pair of matching Ampeg 2x10 cabs. Like to use a Darkglass B7K and Bassmaster for a little dirt and variety. Backup/practice set up: 2nd bass and Ampeg 500 w/ Ampeg 1x15" cab.
