RÉSumÉ Geronis Bravo  began his musical studies with the Youth Symphonic Orchestra in Güiria, Sucre state, Venezuela. He then continued his studies with Professor Filiberto Núñez at the Simon Bolivar Conservatory. In 1989 he helped found the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Symphonic Orchestra. In 1991 he joined the National Philharmonic Orchestra and also won positions as principal bassoonist at the Miranda State Symphonic Orchestra and as bassoonist of the Simon Bolivar octet. In 1997 he moved to Colombia where he worked as principal bassoonist of the Medellin Symphonic Orchestra. That same year he was invited by the Colombian Symphonic Orchestra to perform as soloist and principal bassoonist. Geronis has also been dedicated to popular songs and other musical: Drums , cajon , soprano saxophone, alto and tenor , bass. He has participated in both recordings and live shows with many international artists such as Gilberto Santa Rosa, Hamilton de Holanda , Salserin , Rafael ¨pollo¨ Brito, Oscar D'Leon , Rudi Marquez, Floria Marquez, Vidal Colmenares, Circus Symphony , Pedro Castillo (Aditus), Gabriela Montero, Alfredo Naranjo y su Guajeo, Saul Vera Ensemble, Simón Diaz, Cecilia Todd, Serenata Guayanesa, Los Tucucitos, Elba Escobar, Roberto Antonio, Gurrufio Ensemble Vaäre Ensemble, Gran Coquivacoa, Maracaibo 15, Rincon Morales, Los vasallos de Venezuela, Un Solo Pueblo, Francisco Pacheco y su pueblo, Las Voces Risueñas de Carayaca, Los niños cantores de Villa de Cura, Frankie Tovar y su banda. In 2013 he recorded his first Christian Production ( Darte la gloria ) As a vocal soloist , producer and recording various instruments (percussion , electric bass , traditional Chinese flute, tenor saxophone and bassoon ) .
