I've been singing since 1964, started singing Acapella with friends. Been in bands since 1976, mostly Blues and Classic Rock music. I was lead singer, harmonica player, front man in all of them. I have good stage presence, like to joke with crowds, get them involved to interact with the band and have fun. Being able to have fans feel that they are a part of something fun, happy, good, dance, laugh, is my energizing force. If the crowd is having a great time, it just takes me to a much higher level, it ignites my energy! I am very professional when it comes to practice, being on time, helping band members however I can, and doing what I should to insure that the music and the band is great! 1 last thing...I truly believe that bands with great vocal harmonies really connect with fans.

CONCEPT: 70 s Folk duo. Low voice, High voice. Gordon Lightfoot, John Denver, (or other famous Folk/Rock singer with a high voice), covers-alternating. Possibly expanding to other similar Artists. (Jim Croce, James Taylor, Dan Fogelberg, Michael Murphy etc) I sing Lightfoot really well, but play little Guitar. (But can cover Bass and chords/lead lines on keyboard. Keyboards can provide drum rhythms. Also play violin.) I m a seasoned musician in many realms. Read music exceptionally. Harmonize well. In a position in life where making lots of money is not crucial, but will not play for chump change either. Seeking friendly partner who can cover Denver, (or some similar Artist), all guitar requirements, and high harmonies. Having decent PA a plus. My house is available for rehearsals. One of the best places to catch a live show is at the Florence Events Center. This multi-purpose venue hosts a variety of events, including concerts, comedy shows, and more. The Events Center has a capacity of 1,200 people, and it's located just a short walk from downtown Florence.
Another great place to see a show is at the Timberline Tavern. This cozy bar and grill hosts live music every weekend, and it's a great place to catch up with friends and enjoy a cold beer. The Timberline Tavern has a capacity of about 100 people, and it's located just off of Main Street in Florence.
If you're looking for something a little more intimate, check out the Wildwood Coffeehouse. This coffee shop hosts live music every Friday and Saturday night, and it's a great place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee and some live music. The Wildwood Coffeehouse has a capacity of about 50 people, and it's located just a few blocks from the Events Center.
In addition to these three venues, there are a number of other places to catch a live show in Florence. The Town Pump Saloon, The Watering Hole, and The Pour House all host live music on a regular basis. And if you're looking for something a little different, check out the Florence Farmer's Market. This weekly market features live music from local musicians, and it's a great place to pick up some fresh produce and flowers.
