I'm a singer/songwriter and music producer looking to grow my music's appeal and to streamline the process of making music. I have a wide variety of musical skills to bring to the table, especially production and engineering. But my creativity on its own doesn't bring me as far as I'd like to be. I strongly believe in the power of collaboration. When one person creates a vibe but doesn't know where to bring it next, another person can have an answer. Adding a second cook to the kitchen could help both of us come up with far more than we could create separately.I'm looking for a partner and tastemaker to join with me. Maybe you're a talented producer and can dramatically shape the direction of my productions. Maybe your voice can be the centerpiece of the music I make. Maybe you're talented on piano or guitar and can exude a vibe I can write and produce around. Any of these are desirable, and more than one of these more-so. I'm not looking for an assistant, but for a partner. We can form our duo, or possibly trio, to be whatever we want it to be, releasing music as a new artist under the name we choose. This isn't meant to be the Milo-show, but it also means I'm looking for someone who can bring something to the table that I can't as a solo artist.
This is a tricky one. I'm open to discussion and exploration. Traditionally, I've been attracted to the style of mellow modern pop that Vallis Alps, Tora, and SOHN embody. But lately, I've been growing increasingly interested in electro-soul, taking notes from hip-hop percussion, glitchy production like Basecamp and Oceaan, modern R&B arrangements like Alina Baraz and Jhene Aiko, and soulful vocals like James Blake and James Vincent McMorrow. As I said, I'm open to discussion and exploration, particularly if you bring another singing voice to the table.

I recently migrated from Pro Tools to Studio One, and I'm loving it. I have a good sounding large diaphragm condenser mic for vocals, headphones for recording, great sounding studio monitors, and acoustic treatment in my home studio. I have an acoustic guitar and an electric, and a handful of midi controllers to perform virtual instruments. I rely heavily on virtual instruments, most often turning to Omnisphere, Addictive Drums, and Addictive Keys. I have all the software required for mixing and home-mastering. My favorite brands are Soundtoys, iZotope, and Valhalla DSP, though I supplement with many others. If you have equipment or software, great. If not, I may have all we need to make modern music.
