Ive played guitar for years. Enough said. I would like to offer an evenings worth of music to any venue, from the VFW to the corner cafe, that wants to listen to an easy night of surf music from a three or four piece group. The surf sound is a traditional straight ahead approach that has a small drum kit with a couple of toms playing behind a real tweedy, string section. The guitar is usually a Fender with high reverb on similar brand amplification. The bass is also Fender. What I bring to the table are three sets of original surf music. I can also vouch for the dramatic touch of covering classical arrangements such as the Flight of the Valkyries by Wagner and For Elise by Beethoven as surf charts. The original music draws upon Eastern Scales and incorporates a certain amount of classical guitar phrasing in order to create a broader array of sounds beyond the twang of a telecaster. (Im sure that would get old pretty quick if left to Itself). The focus is drawing upon a small band to produce a quality musical product that also is unique. The costs of overhead, in money and time invested are thought to be low. This is a business venture aimed at getting into a venue with a demo recording on a digital format and getting out with a return on investment. A call of interest starts the conversation and I would be interested in any collaborative efforts to a mutual and possibly profitable end. Pat

I'm Chris, and I play lead guitar for an Amazing new band that's in the forming stage Right Now. Darkstar Agenda is going to be a fusion group of old and new, from blues to hard rock. The three current members have at least 20 years (each) of music and band experience. Our drummer channels Bonham. For real. Our rhythm guitarist is so versatile that he can play almost anything. And I'm no slouch on lead guitar! We have an awesome practice space with gig-ready gear and equipment. Pro level Pa system with multiple tower speakers, individual floor monitors, over a dozen microphones and stands, soundboard, analog and digital recording, smoke machines, we even have a bass and bass amp for the bass player in need. Our goal isn't to learn 5 hours of cover songs and play crap bars for gas money and free beer; while we will be learning the mandatory covers to get us the exposure a band needs, our goal is to Create original music. And we have the talent to make fantastic originals. Don't you want to make your mark on history and leave something behind when we're all gone? Something that says, "I was here, and I created this." With social media, it only takes one song- One Song- to go viral and the next thing you know we're on tour in Europe. And it happens every day. We practice in Winchester, Tennessee (southern middle Tn) on Saturdays or Sundays. We can start early or later; it depends on everyone's schedule. You can show up with your own gear and you don't have to spend one cent of your own money; we have everything needed to play a show right now. Everything, that is, except You.
